How to Embed AI Chat on Any Website (No Coding Required)
Adding an AI chat assistant to your website might sound technical — but with AiFaqChat, it takes just a few clicks. No coding, no plugins, and no developer needed.
This guide is written for non-technical users and shows exactly how to embed an AI chat widget on any website in minutes.
What You Need Before You Start
You don’t need programming skills, hosting access, or special tools. All you need is:
- An active AiFaqChat account
- A website (any platform: WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, custom HTML, etc.)
- Access to edit your website settings or pages
Step 1: Open Your Dashboard
Log in to your AiFaqChat dashboard and locate the website where you want to add the AI chat.
In the site menu, click Embed Widget.
You’ll see two options:
- Chat Widget — floating AI chat assistant
- FAQ Widget — embedded FAQ-style widget
Step 2: Copy the Chat Widget Script
Select Chat Widget. A small script will be displayed — this is the only thing you need to copy.
Click the Copy button. No changes or configuration required.
Step 3: Paste the Script Into Your Website
Open your website editor and paste the script
just before the closing </body> tag.
If You’re Using a Website Builder
- WordPress: paste it in a footer HTML block or theme settings
- Shopify: add it to
theme.liquidbefore</body> - Webflow: use Custom Code → Footer Code
- Wix: Settings → Custom Code → Body End
Save your changes and publish the site.
Step 4: Refresh Your Website
Open your website in a browser and refresh the page.
You should now see the AI chat widget appear — usually in the bottom corner of the screen.
No Coding, No Maintenance
Once embedded, the chat widget updates automatically. You don’t need to reinstall it when you retrain the AI, change rules, or update content.
Everything is managed from the AiFaqChat dashboard.
