Can the AI Access Private or Admin-Only Pages?

A common and very important question: Can AiFaqChat see private pages, dashboards, or admin-only content?

The short answer is no — unless you explicitly allow it. AiFaqChat is designed with strict boundaries to protect sensitive data.

By Default: Public Pages Only

When you enable automatic training, AiFaqChat scans only pages that are:

  • Publicly accessible without login
  • Reachable via standard links or sitemap
  • Allowed by robots.txt

If a page requires authentication, cookies, sessions, or special headers, it is not accessible to the AI.

Admin Panels and Dashboards

Admin areas such as:

  • /admin
  • /dashboard
  • /wp-admin
  • Internal tools and CRMs

are completely ignored during automatic scans. AiFaqChat does not attempt to bypass logins or security layers.

What About Staging or Internal Pages?

Pages that are:

  • Password-protected
  • Behind IP restrictions

are automatically excluded from training.

Manual Training: You Are in Full Control

If you manually add content (text, FAQs, documents), only the information you explicitly provide is used.

This means you can safely:

  • Add curated help content
  • Exclude internal processes
  • Rewrite sensitive explanations in a public-friendly way

Rules Add an Extra Safety Layer

Training rules allow you to define clear boundaries, such as:

  • “Do not answer questions about billing systems”
  • “Never provide admin instructions”
  • “Redirect account-specific questions to support”

Even if related information exists in the training data, rules ensure the AI responds safely.

Can the AI Access User-Specific Data?

No. AiFaqChat does not:

  • Access user accounts
  • Read databases
  • View private user data

The AI responds only based on trained content — not live systems or personal records.

Best Practice: Train Like a Public Help Center

When deciding what to train, ask:

  • Would I publish this in a public help article?
  • Is this safe for any visitor to read?
  • Does this replace repetitive support questions?

If the answer is yes — it’s a great candidate for training.
